OUR VALUES

Our core value is simple: we are stronger together. We are inspired by a popular African proverb: "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together."

Cooperation

To truly create change, we need systemic collaboration. CJCW bridges sectors to turn localised expertise and ambition into measurable solutions.

Participation and Inclusion

Each one of us has a role to play. Everyone can participate in the CJCW movement. We believe that climate action should be inclusive and diverse.

Resilience

Resilience comes with action and optimism. CJCW addresses that systematically: strengthing our economy, our resources and communities to adapt, thrive and rebuild on a day-to-day basis and long term.

Why Cluj-Napoca and why 2027 ?

The capital of Transylvania offers a uniquely rich cultural and business environment where communities and organisations can engage directly with one of Eastern Europe's fastest-growing innovation ecosystems while addressing its distinctive climate transition.

Part of the EU's 100 Mission Cities 2030, Cluj-Napoca is strongly committed to achieving Net Zero by 2030. An ambitious target that requires the whole city to move from ambition to implementation, CJCW brings the community and local actors under a shared umbrella, reinforcing collaboration and action.

2027 is an opportunity to close the gap: to bring the right people together, accelerate collaboration and turn local innovation into measurable climate action at scale.

Who is the week for ?

Cluj-Napoca Climate Week is for the local community and organisations shaping the transition: from businesses, investors and innovators, to academics, public institutions, social entrepreneurs, students and civic actors. We bring together those who face the same challenges, so the week becomes a shared space for learning, education and participation.

Is CJCW a Climate conference?

Cluj-Napoca Climate Week is not a typical climate conference or summit. It is a city-wide platform that addresses various climate themes, in different event formats and venues.

Who is the platform organised by?

CJCW is founded and organised by atelier fabulae, a design studio that aligns spaces, brands and experiences to create meaningful impact.

Led by Alexandra Totoianu, she brings a decade of international experience across Europe in programme curation, architecture, historical property development and sustainable building design.
